Understanding the analytics dashboard

The dashboard gives you a bird's-eye view of your WhatsApp business performance.

Key metrics

The dashboard shows these core stats:

MetricWhat it measures
Messages SentTotal outbound messages in the period
Messages ReceivedTotal inbound messages from customers
Active ConversationsConversations with messages in the period
New ContactsContacts added in the period
Campaign DeliveryMessages delivered from campaigns
Response TimeAverage time to first reply

Each metric shows:

  • Current value
  • Trend percentage (↑ or ↓ compared to previous period)

Date range selector

Change the time period using the toggle:

  • 7 days — Last week
  • 30 days — Last month
  • Custom — Pick specific start and end dates

The comparison shows how metrics changed vs. the previous equivalent period.

Customizing widgets

  1. Click "Customize" on the dashboard
  2. Drag widgets to reorder them
  3. Add new widgets:
    • Messages chart (line/bar)
    • Contacts by source (pie)
    • Campaign performance (table)
    • Agent activity (leaderboard)
  4. Remove widgets you don't need
  5. Save your layout

Recent messages feed

The dashboard includes a live feed of recent messages — useful for quick monitoring without opening the full inbox.

Tips

  1. Check daily — Spot issues early (sudden drop in delivery = account problem)
  2. Compare periods — Week-over-week trends show growth
  3. Focus on response time — Faster replies = happier customers
  4. Monitor delivery rate — Should be above 95%
