Sending media messages
Send images, videos, documents, and audio files directly in WhatsApp conversations.
Supported media types

How to send media
In a conversation
- Open the chat with your contact
- Click the 📎 attachment icon in the message input area
- Select the file type (image, video, document)
- Choose a file from your device
- Optionally add a caption (text that appears with the media)
- Click Send
Via template (header media)
Some templates have image/video/document headers:
- Select a template with a media header
- Upload or select the media file
- Fill in template variables
- Send
Sending voice notes
- Click and hold the 🎤 microphone button
- Record your message
- Release to send (or slide left to cancel)
Voice notes are sent as OGG audio files.
Important notes
- Media can only be sent within the 24-hour window (unless using a template with media header)
- Files are uploaded to AIsoule's servers and delivered via WhatsApp's CDN
- WhatsApp compresses images automatically — send high-resolution originals for best quality
- Video thumbnails are generated automatically
Troubleshooting
"File too large" — Compress the file or use a lower resolution. Videos can be compressed with tools like HandBrake.
"Unsupported format" — Convert to a supported format. For images, use JPEG or PNG. For videos, use MP4.
"Upload failed" — Check your internet connection and try again. If persistent, try a smaller file.
